PCT No. PCT/JP96/00552 Sec. 371 Date Jun. 19, 1997 Sec. 102(e) Date Jun. 19, 1997 PCT Filed Mar. 7, 1996 PCT Pub. No. WO96/28512 PCT Pub. Date Sep. 19, 1996There are disclosed a flame retardant polyethylene terephthalate resin composition comprising (A) a polyethylene terephthalate resin containing ethylene terephthalate units as a main constituent, prepared by the use of a germanium compound as a catalyst, (B) a halogen flame retardant, (C) at least one compound selected from the group consisting of epoxy compounds and carbodiimide compounds and (D) an antimony compound, and moreover, resin compositions further containing, besides those (A), (B), (C) and (D), at least one selected from the group consisting of (E) a reinforcing filler, (F) at least one inorganic compound composed of silicates and silicic acid and (G) a crystallization accelerator. The resin compositions are excellent in physical properties and wet heat resistance. By the addition of the specific inorganic compounds and the crystallization accelerators, releasability is also improved and thus high cyclization of molding is possible. |
