Porous material ( 1 ) for catalytic conversion of exhaust gases including a carrier with a first porous structure ( 2, 2′ ), and an oxidation catalyst (OX) which in the presence of oxygen (O 2 ), according to a first reaction ( 3 ), has the ability to catalyze oxidation of nitrogen monoxide (NO) into nitrogen dioxide (NO 2 ) and, according to a second reaction ( 4, 4′ ), to catalyze oxidation of a reducing agent (HC), which oxidation catalyst (OX) is enclosed inside the first porous structure ( 2, 2′ ). The invention is characterized in that the oxidation catalyst (OX) includes iron (Fe) and silver (Ag) loaded on a zeolite. The invention also relates to a method and an arrangement and a catalytic conversion device that utilizes the porous material, and indicates an advantageous use of the porous material. |
