Provided is a production method of a lipophilic bioactive substance, which includes mixing an aqueous suspension of a microbial cell containing the lipophilic bioactive substance or a microbial cell homogenate thereof and an organic solvent in the presence of a particular surfactant, and extracting the lipophilic bioactive substance into the organic solvent phase. n This production method enables extraction without using special dehydrating, drying facility, and without causing a decrease in the yield due to degraded separability between solvent and fungus body component, as well as efficient industrial production. |
