titleOfInvention Battery including current collector tabs
abstract According to one embodiment, there is provided a battery including a case, a lid, an electrode group, an intermediate lead, and a terminal lead. The electrode group has an end face opposed to the lid and includes current collector tabs extending from the end face. The intermediate lead contains an electrode group joint and a lead joint. The terminal lead is electrically connected to the lid and the lead joint of the intermediate lead. Each of the current collector tabs has a tip portion whose width in the direction perpendicular to the extending direction is narrow. The tip portion thereof is electrically connected to the electrode group joint.
