titleOfInvention fMRI COMPATIBLE ELECTRODE AND ELECTRODE PLACEMENT TECHNIQUES
abstract In a brainwave acquisition system, an electrode positioning system includes a stretchable elastic cap (10), soft rubber electrode holders (20a), conductive recording electrodes (not numbered), where the electrodes are composed of materials such as metal, plastic or carbon, and conductive lead wires (13) are composed of materials such as metal or carbon conductive materials. No ferromagnetic materials of any kind are used in the construction of the system, and therefore, the system will not introduce unwanted contamination of functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) data.
