This invention relates to surfactant-containing laundry detergent products and methods for using such products to reduce damage to fabrics that go through many wash then wear cycles ('wash and wear fabrics'), especially fabrics made from cellulosic fibers, such as cotton, rayon, ramie, jute, flax, linen, polynosic-fibers, Lyocell (Tencel®), polyester/cotton blends, other cotton blends, and the like, especially cotton, rayon, linen, polyester/cotton blends, and mixtures thereof, compared to laundry detergent products with low organic surfactants. |
