The invention relates to preparations for treating keratin fibres, especially human hair. The preparations contain a combination of active agents consisting of a synthetic polymer (A) with a thickening effect chosen from homopolymers of general formula (I), wherein R1 = -H or -CH¿3?, R?2, R3 and R4¿, independently of each other, are chosen from C¿1-4?-alkyl-, -alkenyl- or -hydroxyalkyl groups, m = 1, 2, 3 or 4, n is a natural number and X?-¿ is a physiologically compatible organic or inorganic anion, and copolymers consisting essentially of the monomer units listed in formula (I) and non-ionogenic monomer units; and at least one cationic polymer (B), on the condition that the preparation must contain a tenside when polymer (A) is a copolymer. The inventive preparations are characterised by their extraordinarily good care properties. |
