An aqueous dispersion comprising a halopropargyl compound (HPC) and a partially hydrolysed polyvinyl alcohol (PHPVA). The aqueous dispersions are useful for inhibiting the growth of micro-organisms on or in a medium, especially an industrial medium such as paint films, metal working fluids, wood, lattices and plastic materials. |
