abstract The aim of the invention is to produce polymeric networks. An aldehyde or a mixture of aldehydes or precursors thereof are condensed with a component (A) that contains amines, optionally in the presence of a solvent (S). The component (A) contains at least one amine (I) which can be obtained by means of amination of polymeric ethers of the 1.4 butanediol and is provided with at least two free amino groups. Said component (A) also and optionally contains at least one amine of the formula (II): Y<1>(-NH2)n and optionally contains at least one amine of the formula (III): (Z-)(q-r)Y<2>(-NH2)r, wherein Y<1> means n-valued organic radicals, Y<2> means q-valued organic radicals, Z means functional single-valued radicals, n means an integral value of 1 to 20, q means an integral value of 2 to 20 and r means an integral value of 1 to 19 with the proviso that 1 </= r < q.
