The invention relates to micelle assemblies, compositions comprising micelle assemblies, as well as methods of preparing micelle assemblies and their compositions. The invention also relates to compounds of formula (I), in which A represents a carboxy group or is absent; X represents polyol; Y represents -C (= O) -, -C (= S) -, or is absent; Z represents O, S or NH; and R <1> represents a polyether, one or more hydroxy groups of the polyol being acylated by a fatty acid residue. These compounds form the assembly of micelles. The invention also relates to methods of encapsulating molecules using the compounds of the invention. |
