abstract Disclosed is a unit for focusing solar radiation onto a micro solar cell (4). An optical device (3) and a micro solar cell (4) are disposed inside said unit. Incident sunlight can be focused onto the micro solar cell by means of the optical device (3). The optical device (3) is movable independent of the micro solar cell (4) and/or the unit is movable independent of a housing (2) which surrounds the unit in order to track the position of the sun. The housing (2) that surrounds the units can be integrated into a building shell.
