abstract |
A white-light laser integrated structure that includes a substrate; and one or more individually addressable laser light pixels (11) formed on the substrate for emitting a white beam (9) of laser light perpendicular to the substrate. Each of the one or more individually addressable laser light pixels (11) include one or more organic light emitting diodes (14) (OLEDs) and a plurality of organic vertical cavity lasers (12B, 12R, 12G) that are arranged to be optically pumped by the one or more OLEDs (14). The plurality of organic vertical cavity lasers emits differently colored light (13) and the one or more individually addressable laser light pixels (11) emit substantially white light (9) when the differently colored light (13) is combined. |
