abstract The invention relates to a spraying device for the dosed delivery of sprayable substances, especially a spray inhalation device for the dosed application of non-powdery pharmaceutical active substances. Said spraying device comprises a hollow mouthpiece (a) at the end of which opposite the end which is inserted into the mouth of a user an at least partially hollow-cylindrical shaft (c) is joined, preferably via a hollow angle connector (b). A substance reservoir (d) filled with the active substance and a propellant is inserted in said shaft so as to be axially displaced and is provided with a dosing valve. Said dosing valve is actuated by axially displacing to the interior of the substance reservoir (d) a delivery tube projecting from the face of the substance reservoir. The inhalation device is provided with a counter for the number of actuation strokes of the substance reservoir (d) which transmits any axial relative displacement of the substance reservoir (d) in the shaft (c) carried out for the purpose of the delivery of the active substance to a display ring which is partially visible in a display window. Said display ring is provided with the information concerning the respective remaining quantity of active substance in the reservoir (d) in the areas which subsequently appear in the display window.
