Water absorbing resin particles characterized in that the saline retentivity (X) thereof is in the range of 30 to 70 g/g, and that the saline retentivity (X) and pressurized water absorption index (Y) thereof satisfy the relationship of the formula: [pressurized water absorption index (Y)] ≥ 150 - 2[saline retentivity (X)], and that the rate of liquid suction from pulp thereof is ≥ 20 g/g/5 min. Further, there are provided, making use of the same, an absorber material and absorbent article. The absorber material making use of the water absorbing resin particles is suitable for use in absorbent articles, such as disposable diapers and napkins. |
