abstract | A liquid chromatographic analyzer for detecting components by using an electrolytic unit, in which analyzer a variety of substances can be detected with good sensitivity by making it possible to apply electrolytic voltages over a wider range. The electrolytic unit provided in the liquid chromatographic analyzer comprises a working electrode wherein a conductive diamond film is formed on at least one surface of a thin plate of conductor, a spacer of electric insulator having a thickness of 0.05-0.5 mm and a hole in the surface, and a counter electrode of conductor having a surface facing the surface of the working electrode on which the diamond film is formed. Furthermore, introduction opening and discharge opening for a dissolution liquid opened to a space formed by the hole in the spacer and a reference electrode are provided, and the dissolution liquid is applied with a pressure of 1.0-15.0 kg/cm2 in the electrolytic unit. |
