titleOfInvention Radio and remotely controlled safety system for powered water vessels with a man overboard function and electronic theft protection
abstract The invention relates to a radio and remotely controlled safety system for powered water vessels with a man overboard function and electronic theft protection, comprising an electrical transmitter module and a receiver module. The transmitter module is provided with two push buttons, the first push button having the 'stop' function and the second push button the 'start' function. A transistor is built in to the transmitter module which takes over the function fo the 'stop' switch on an electrical impulse, once the transmitter comes into contact with water. The above occurs by establishing contact between the plus pole of the power supply to the housing of the transmitter module and a contact to the collector of the transistor. On the transmitter module making contact with water, current flows from the plus pole of the battery to the collector contact and this closes the connection between the base and emitter thereof. The receiver module comprises a receiver for radio frequencies and a controller which processes the signals as desired. Furthermore, a relay with an 'on-off' function is integrated in the receiver module.
