abstract Provided is a method and apparatus for separating blast furnace gas in which blast furnace gas emitted from a blast furnace is separated into gases that comprise various elements, by means of two stages of a gas separation and refinement apparatus. First, the first stage of the gas separation and refinement apparatus separates the blast furnace gas into: a gas comprising H 2 , N 2 , and unavoidable impurity gas components; a gas comprising N 2 and unavoidable impurity gas components; a gas comprising N 2 , CO, CO 2 and unavoidable impurity gas components; and a gas comprising CO, CO 2 , and unavoidable impurity gas components. Next, the second stage of the gas separation and refinement apparatus separates, the gas comprising CO, CO 2 , and unavoidable impurity gas components into a gas comprising CO and unavoidable impurity gas components; a gas comprising CO 2 and unavoidable impurity gas components; and a gas comprising CO, CO 2 , and unavoidable impurity gas components.
