In-building communication-relay system using power-line communication and method thereof |
abstract |
This invention relates to an in-building communication-relay system and a method thereof for improving mobile communication service and reception in a building. According to the invention, the disclosed system relays a communication service provided from a communication system to the inside of a building and comprises a main unit and a remote unit. The main unit receives a communication signal from a repeater and a base station and modulates the received communication signal. In addition, the main unit is connected to an input terminal of power lines wired inside the building and supplies the modulated signal to the inside of the building through the power lines according to a PLC (Power-Line Communication) method. The remote unit which is connected to an end terminal of the power lines receives the communication signal via the PLC method. Then, the remote unit demodulates the communication signal and provides the communication service to the surrounding area. |
