abstract In a receiver apparatus (200d), OFDM signals (obtained by arranging data signals, which have been QPSK modulated and SFBC coded, at positions specified by frequencies and times) transmitted from a transmitter apparatus are received by a receiving part (21d) of the receiver apparatus (200d) via antennas (20d) first and then outputted to a demapping part (22d).  The demapping part (22d) then acquires the data signals from the positions defined by the frequencies and times and outputs the acquired data signals to a power determining part (23d) and to an SFBC decoding part (24d).  The power determining part (23d) determines, from the data signals, power adjustment values specified for the respective antennas and outputs the power adjustment values specified for the respective antennas to the SFBC decoding part (24d).  The SFBC decoding part (24d), after taking into account the power adjustment values specified for the respective antennas, SFBC decodes the data signals and outputs the SFBC decoded data signals to a demodulating part (25d).  The demodulating part (25d) QPSK demodulates the data signals and outputs the demodulated data signals to the exterior.  In this way, the data signals can be received without the need for adapting the transmitter apparatus and the receiver apparatus to share therebetween the power adjustment values specified for the respective antennas and further without a problem that the receiver apparatus damages the orthogonality of SFBC.
