abstract | A link transmission unit in a Single Carrier-Frequency Division Multiple Access (SC-FDMA) system is disclosed by the invention. The unit includes a channel coding module, a constellation modulation module, a data stream separation module, a Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) module, a Space Time Block Coding (STBC) device, a resource mapping module, an Inverse Fast Fouπer Transform (IFFT) module and a transmission module, wherein the data stream separation module is used to perform separation on the constellation modulated time domain data stream input by the constellation modulation module, and the STBC is performed on the time domain data substreams before the performing of DFT on them, or the DFT is performed before the performing of STBC on them By adopting the device and the method of the invention, because of the addition of the data stream separation module, it is feasible either to convert the separated time domain data substreams into frequency domain data substreams firstly and then perform STBC on the frequency domain data substreams, or to perform STBC on the time domain data substreams directly. Therefore, the STBC can be performed either before the DFT or after the DFT, and thus the flexibility of system design is improved. |
