titleOfInvention Method for manufacturing an optically active n-methyl amino acid and an optically active n-methyl amino acid amide
abstract Disclosed is a method for manufacturing an optically active N-methyl amino acid and/or an optically active N-methyl amino acid amide by using a fungal body of a microorganism belonging to the Mycoplana genus, or a substance obtained by processing same, as a biological catalyst to hydrolyze an N-methyl amino acid amide. This method can efficiently and stereoselectively produce an optically active N-methyl amino acid and an optically active N-methyl amino acid amide which are useful as raw materials for pharmaceuticals.
