abstract |
The invention relates to a water treatment composition comprising 3 - 18 weight-% active metal ions originating from at least one inorganic coagulant compound, and a tetrakis(hydroxymethyl)phosphonium salt selected from the group consisting of tetrakis(hydroxymethyl)phosphonium sulphate, tetrakis(hydroxymethyl)phosphonium chloride, tetrakis(hydroxymethyl)phosphonium bromide and tetrakis(hydroxymethyl)phosphonium phosphate. The invention relates also to a use of the water treatment composition and to a method for improving biological water treatment process. |
