Disclosed is a foamable resin composition which contains no more than 10 parts by mass of a biodegradable resin and/or a polyolefin resin, 10-30 parts by mass of water, 0.01-5 parts by mass of an inorganic filler, and 0.01-5 parts by mass of a plasticiser, per 100 parts by mass of processed starch, or a mixture of processed starch and un-processed starch. Further disclosed is a foam which is formed by foaming the foamable resin composition. |
