abstract The invention relates to an insulation system (20) having improved partial discharge strength, to an insulating tape (10) and to a method for producing such an insulation system (20). The insulating tape (10) comprises a mica paper (5) and a carrier material (6) that are glued to each other by means of an adhesive (8). The adhesive (8) comprises at least one nanoparticulate filler material (7). The insulating tape is wound about an electrical conductor (13). The insulating tape (10) wound about the conductor (13) is impregnated with plastic resin.
