The present invention relates to novel materials which can be crosslinked by means of two different crosslinking mechanisms, where the first crosslinking mechanism is an irreversible crosslinking. The second crosslinking mechanism is a thermoreversible mechanism. Properties of the crosslinked material, including, inter alia, flexibility, elasticity and further mechanical properties but also chemical properties, the gas and vapour permeability and storage capacity of the network, can be decisively changed and controlled by means of this thermoreversible change in the internode distance. Energy carriers such as fuels, for example, could be stored in this way. |
