abstract |
The invention relates to a device for hydrothermally pulping dried, lignified lignocellulosic biomass which, in particular, is ball-shaped. Said device consists of a pulping vessel (13) that receives balls of biomass (5) and comprises a loading opening (1) for these biomass balls (5) as well as a discharge opening (2) for removing the treated biomass from said pulping vessel (13). A preheated acid/water mixture can be conducted into the interior of the pulping vessel (13) by means of a feed line (14) and filling nozzles (15), and the hydrolysate that is produced during the hydrolytic pulping can be conducted out of the pulping vessel (13) via a hydrolysate outlet (12). At least one stationary or mobile injection device (4) for said preheated acid/water mixture is arranged in the pulping vessel (13), and a screening and guiding element (6) for separating the liquid hydrolysate from the solid biomass is arranged in the base region of the pulping vessel (13). |
