The present invention produces a steel plate for rotor cores for IPM motors which has a magnetic flux density (B 8000 ) value of 1.65T or higher when the strength of a magnetic field is 8,000 A/m, and a residual magnetic flux density (Br) at the same time of 0.5T or higher, and has a coercive force (Hc) of 100 A/m or higher at a magnetization up to 8,000 A/m when necessary. By using a steel plate produced by the present invention as the rotor core for an IPM motor, it is possible to increase the output torque in a high-speed rotation range, and to increase the maximum number of rotations. |
