abstract |
The invention relates to a UWB receiver with time drift correction. Following frequency translation by a quadrature demodulator (240), the received UWB pulsed signal is integrated over successive time windows (260) and subsequently sampled (270). A phase shift estimator (280) determines the phase difference between samples separated by a multiple of the sampling period approximating the period of the pulses of the signal. On the basis of the phase difference, control means (290) deduce a time shift to be applied to the integrators (260) in order to synchronise the receiver in relation to the received signal. |
