titleOfInvention Ice ball making apparatus
abstract The present invention relates to an ice ball making apparatus, and particularly, to an ice ball making apparatus having a hemispheric bowl for making ice balls and provided with a cooling means and a heat supplying means at the hemispheric bowl, and comprising a rotating means which rotates the ice formed in the hemispheric bowl so as to make globe-shaped ice balls by using one hemispheric bowl. The present invention comprises: the hemispheric bowl having a cooling line and a heating line at a surface thereof; an ice supporting means coupled to a groove of the hemispheric bowl and provided with a plurality of protrusions formed on the front surface thereof so that the ice supporting means moves the ice balls to the upper side while rotating; a rotation force supplying means which provides rotation force to a guide rod, provided at a rear side of the ice supporting means, to rotate the guide rod, thereby rotating the ice supporting means; a left and right moving means which, as a means for moving the guide rod of the ice supporting means left and right, retracts the guide rod backward when ice is formed at the hemispheric bowl to induce only the globe-shaped ice to remain alone; a water supply means provided at one end of an upper part of the hemispheric bowl and supplying water to the hemispheric bowl to form ball-shaped ice; and the heating means provided at the surface or on the inside of the ice supporting means and the plurality of protrusions for providing heat to separate the ice supporting means from the ice when the ice is completely formed at the hemispheric bowl.
