A polylactic acid resin composition comprising a polylactic acid resin, glass fibers having an average aspect ratio (average fiber length/average fiber diameter) of 5 or more and a metallic pigment, wherein the amount of the glass fibers and the amount of the metallic pigment are 2 to 35 parts by mass and 0.1 to 8 parts by mass, respectively, relative to 100 parts by mass of the polylactic acid resin. The polylactic acid resin composition according to the present invention has excellent moldability, and can provide a molded article which has a high-quality design that has a transparent surface layer and an inner layer having lame-like feel in a satin pattern. Therefore, the polylactic acid resin composition can be used suitably in various industrial applications including commodities, parts of home electrical appliances, packaging materials for parts of home electrical appliances and vehicle parts. |
