abstract The invention relates to a system (100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600) for producing a security element (4), in particular a vignette for a windshield pane (6) of a transportation means. The security element comprises a support element (3) with a first and a second surface, wherein a first sub-element (1) of the security element (4) is arranged in a first region (31) of the first surface, and a second sub-element (2) of the security element (4) is arranged in a second region (32) of the first surface, said second region being separated from the first region (31) by a folding edge (33). The sub-elements (1, 2) can be brought into a stacked arrangement by folding the support element (3) along the folding edge (33) and can be adhered by means of an adhesive (25) arranged on the second sub-element (2) face facing away from the support element (3). An individualizing feature (14) can be applied onto a first (1) and/or second sub-element (2) face facing away from the support element (3). The invention further relates to a method for producing a security element (4) using such a system (100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600) and to a security element (4) obtained using said method.
