The purpose of the present invention is to provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery which comprises a monofluorotoluene-containing nonaqueous electrolyte having improved overcharge prevention effect. By having a monofluorotoluene-containing nonaqueous electrolyte contain a specific fluorophosphoric acid compound, the overcharge prevention effect of the monofluorotoluene is improved, so that increase of the battery surface temperature of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery in an overcharged state, said nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery being provided with the monofluorotoluene-containing nonaqueous electrolyte, can be suppressed. |
