abstract |
The invention relates to a self-powered, solar-based system for desalinating water and generating electricity, in which water is collected inside a glass structure by means of an electric turbine that propels the water into the glass structure, and the water to be desalinated is subsequently exposed to sun rays which are collected by means of a glass pyramid comprising concave lenses that evaporate the water. A condensing unit then condenses the water, changing same into liquid state to obtain water fit for drinking and human consumption, and salts. |
