abstract An online transaction method, device and system, belonging to the technical field of the Internet. The method comprises: a client generates order information according to an item ordered by a buyer, and sends the order information to an item server (S101), and sends a bank credit certificate issuing request to a first bank server (S102); the first bank server generates a to-be-effective bank credit certificate (S103), and verifies buyer payment checking information obtained by the client (S104); if verification is passed, the first bank server freezes funds in a buyer account which correspond to an order amount, updates the status of the bank credit certificate to effective, and sends the bank credit certificate to a second bank server (S105); the second bank server updates the status of the received bank credit certificate to has-been-received, and sends a has-been-received notification to the item server (S106); after confirming that the buyer has received, the client sends a has-been-received notification to the first bank server (S107); the first bank server transfers the frozen funds of the buyer account into a seller account (S108). The method effectively reduces the risk to the funds, and increases the security of the transaction.
