abstract | The invention relates to a device for separating product water (P) obtained by condensation in a condenser (14). This is obtained from raw water (R) which consists of a mixture of water and impurities and is concentrated or stripped in an evaporator (13). According to the invention, it is provided that both the evaporator (13) and the condenser (14) ensure direct condensation or direct evaporation, in that a process gas is guided in a process gas circuit (11) respectively from a bottom (22, 30) to a top (29, 19) of the evaporator (13) and of the condenser (14). By virtue of the fact that the media between which an exchange of heat is to take place are in direct contact, very efficient operation of the device is advantageously possible, while the use of identical parts also limits component costs. Furthermore, it is advantageously possible to reduce the number of components of the device that are exposed to the corrosive medium of the raw water. The concentrated or stripped water is removed from the device as a concentrate (K). In addition to the device, the invention also relates to a method for operating same. |
