Provided is a secondary battery that includes: a positive electrode plate which has a thickness of at least 25 μm and which is composed of an inorganic material containing a positive electrode active material in the form of an oxide; a negative electrode plate which has a thickness of at least 25 μm and which is composed of a negative electrode active material in the form of an oxide; and an inorganic solid electrolyte layer, wherein charge and discharge take place at a temperature of 100°C or higher. The present invention is able to achieve fast charge and discharge at a high cycle capacity retention rate while allowing for increased capacity of a secondary battery. |
