| abstract |
A scroll compressor having a housing (10) in which a movable displacer spiral (13), which is connected to an eccentric bearing (16) for conjoint rotation, and a stationary counterspiral (14) are situated, wherein the displacer spiral (13) engages in the counterspiral (14) in such a way that radially inwardly moving chambers are formed between the windings of the displacer spiral (13) and the counterspiral (14), and wherein the eccentric bearing (16) is connected to a shaft (15) which extends through a stator (18a) of an electric motor which is situated within an intake chamber (30a) of the housing (10). The housing (10) has a base (12) in which a fluid inlet (21) is formed on the end face. |
