abstract The invention relates to a moltenbdenum sintered piece obtained by powder metallurgy, having the following composition: a proportion of molybdenum ≥ 99.93% by weight, a proportion of boron "B" ≥ 3 ppmw and a proportion of carbon "C" ≥ 3 ppmw, the total proportion "BuC" of carbon and boron being ≥ 15 ppmw and ≤ 50 ppmw, a proportion of oxygen "O" ≥ 3 ppmw and ≤ 20 ppmw, a proportion of tungsten maximum ≤ 330 ppmw and a proportion of various maximum impurities ≤ 300 ppmw. The invention also relates to a process for the metallurgical manufacture of the powders of such a sintered molybdenum part.
