The invention relates to novel liposomes and liposome compositions. The present invention also provides kits and methods for preparing liposomes. Liposomes are a useful means for the selective delivery of a cargo such as an active pharmaceutical ingredient or an imaging agent to the blood brain barrier (BBB) of a subject. Liposomes can be used for therapeutic, diagnostic or theranostic purposes. |
