abstract Provided is a method for producing reformed coal, the method having a dry distillation step for dry-distilling coal at 300-650°C to obtain dry-distilled coal, and an oxidation treatment step in which the dry-distilled coal is subjected to oxidation treatment for 10-60 minutes in a temperature range from more than 200°C to no more than 240°C.
