A composition for moisturizing the skin, according to the present invention, increases the expression or production of AQP3 to thus activate the movement of moisture through the skin, thereby obtaining a moisturizing effect by moisturizing the skin and restoring skin function. Accordingly, the composition for moisturizing the skin of the present invention exhibits the effects of moisturizing the skin and preventing, suppressing, alleviating or ameliorating skin irritation caused by dryness of the skin, and also exhibits excellent effects in skin care, such as improving skin condition which has deteriorated due to skin dryness or restoring the skin condition to a normal state. |
