Disclosed is an ultrafine fiber fabric, comprising a base part and a surface part, wherein the base part is composed of fixed island type sea-island filaments and/or common filaments, the surface part is composed of short fibers, and the fabric has a nonwoven structure in which the base part and the surface part are mutually complexed. Disclosed is a process for manufacturing the ultrafine fiber fabric, the process involving subjecting the fixed island-type sea-island filaments and/or common filaments of the base part of the fabric to a weft knitting, warp knitting or tatting process, then forming a napped layer on the surface thereof by means of a napping treatment, laying short fibers on the napped layer, forming the short fibers and the napped layer on the surface of the base into a non-woven complexed structure by means of a non-woven complex technology, and then subjecting same to immersion, drying, fibrillation, dyeing and a post-treatment to obtain the ultrafine fiber fabric. The present ultrafine fiber fabric fills in the blank of the finished product specifications of a thickness of 0.5 mm or less with regard to needle-punched nonwoven fabrics, and has a very good two-color effect and high-grade beauty. |
