abstract The present invention relates to a lateral fluid separation-based DNA extraction device. A DNA extraction device according to an embodiment of the present invention may comprise: a sample pad for receiving a sample from which DNA is to be extracted; a loading pad for receiving a washing buffer carrying the DNA released from the sample received by the sample pad; a binding pad for enriching the DNA carried by the washing buffer; and a wicking pad, located downstream of the binding pad, for absorbing the washing buffer deployed into the binding pad.
