titleOfInvention Optical component and illuminating device
abstract An optical component (51) converts the wavelength of light (91) emitted from a light source (90). The optical component (51) has a first substrate (11) and a second substrate (21). The first substrate (11) includes a phosphor substrate (61). The second substrate (21) supports the first substrate (11). The second substrate (21) includes a translucent substrate (71) that receives, via the first substrate (11), the light (91) emitted from the light source (90). The translucent substrate (71) has a polycrystalline structure with orientation, thereby having crystal anisotropy in refractive index.
