The present invention addresses the problem of providing a compound which is capable of forming a radical polymerization initiator that exhibits excellent heat resistance and solubility. The present invention is a compound represented by general formula (A). (In the formula, each of R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, R7 and R8 independently represents a hydrogen atom, a group represented by general formula (B) or the like; at least one of the R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, R7 and R8 moieties is a group represented by general formula (B); each of R10 and R11 independently represents an aliphatic hydrocarbon group having 1-120 carbon atoms, a group represented by general formula (C) or the like; and at least one of the R10 and R11 moieties is a group represented by general formula (C).
