abstract |
This biological tissue observation lens has an integrally provided polarizing filter, is a lens material having a 40% or higher average transmittance in the visible wavelength range 380-780 nm, and contains a specific wave length absorbing pigment such that the ratio of the minimum transmittance in the wavelength region 580-600 nm to the aforementioned average transmittance is 18-50%. Because yellow light in the wavelength region 580-600 nm is cut by only a prescribed ratio, a contrast in particular between orange/red and other colors is perceived strongly, and making it easier to distinguish the boundary between the orange/red color of blood and other colors. |
