abstract The present invention relates to a method for welding a fluid-tight and thermally insulating tank membrane, wherein there are: - at least two metal strakes (1, 2) of the fluid-tight membrane, and - at least two metal welding supports, - a pair of inner rollers, - a pair of outer rollers, so as to perform simultaneous seam welding of each of the above-mentioned two adjacent raised side edges with respectively one of the welding supports, which are inserted between the adjacent raised edges, by means of the inner and outer rollers.
