abstract This lead-acid battery current collector comprises a frame rib, a tab provided on the frame rib, and an inner rib inside the frame rib. The frame rib has an upper element connected to the tab, a lower element opposite of the upper element, and a pair of side elements linking the upper element and the lower element. The inner rib comprises a vertical rib which extends in a first direction from the upper element towards the lower element, and a horizontal rib which extends in a second direction from one side element to the other side element. A stripe pattern of a metal fibrous material can be seen in a section C orthogonal to the first direction of the vertical rib. The outer peripheral region of the section C is configured from a first area where the fibrous material extends along the contour of the section C and a second area outside of the first area. The ratio of the length of the contour corresponding to the first area is at least 50% of the total length of the contour of the section C.
