titleOfInvention Device to be inserted in eustachian tube
abstract The present invention relates to a device to be inserted into the Eustachian tube, and to a device to be inserted into the Eustachian tube, capable of treating Patulous Eustachian tube, which is a disorder in which the Eustachian tube stays open intermittently or continuously. In order to accomplish the aforementioned objective, the device to be inserted into the Eustachian tube, according to the present invention, comprises: a tail part which is inserted into the expanded Eustachian tube and which has a cross section formed in an oval shape; a head part which is divided into two tubes at the tail part and which has the two tubes provided at an angle of 10-20°, so as not to slip in the Eustachian tube after the tail part is inserted; and catching parts extended from the two tubes of the head part and horizontally bent so as to be caught, wherein the catching parts, the head part, and the tail part are manufactured with silicon, and the tail part is inserted through tympanotomy. In addition, in the tail part, the length ratio of the cross section of one end portion, connected to the head part, to the cross section of the other end portion is 2.0:1.0. Furthermore, one or more from among the catching parts, the head part, and the tail part have marker parts containing inorganic substances or metals. Additionally, one or more from among the catching parts, the head part, and the tail part have surfaces coated with antibiotics. Moreover, one or more from among the catching parts, the head part, and the tail part have surfaces coated with steroids. [Representative drawing] Figure 2
