The present invention provides a mobile unit for continuously monitoring a flow of cooling water comprising: means for sensing a cooling water flow; means for analysing a plurality of parameters of the cooling water using various analytical techniques, generating results related to each of the parameters analysed; and means for returning the cooling water flow to the cooling system (1). Furthermore, the invention also provides a method for continuously monitoring a flow of cooling water, comprising the following steps: sensing a cooling water flow; analysing a plurality of parameters of the cooling water using various analytical techniques, generating results related to each of the parameters analysed; and returning the cooling water to the cooling system (1). |
